Loan Terms and Calculations

Metro Bank provides loans with maximum LTV ratios of 85%, requiring only a 15% deposit. Here’s how we calculate the gross contract value:

For day-rate contractors:

£150 per day multiplied by five days over 46 weeks = £34,500 gross contract value.

If your hourly rate is £25:

£25 per hour multiplied by (specified hours or default of 37.5 hours) multiplied by 46 weeks = £43,125 gross contract value.

Required Documentation

  • Proof of Address documents such as utility or council tax bills.
  • Current contract with signed and dated Terms and Conditions.
  • Previous contract history from the past 12 months as evidence of continuity.
  • Proof of mortgage payment or rental payment such as a mortgage statement or rent receipts.
  • Metro Bank Signed Declaration “Getting to know You” form.
  • An up-to-date CV highlighting your impressive work experience.
  • Personal and business bank statements for the last three months.
  • If you are purchasing property, proof of deposit or gifted deposit letter are both needed for registration and closing. Our team can provide the appropriate templates to create these letters.
